NOTE there are SPOILERS in here for the ENTIRE game.

Kyle has a unique relationship with Sialeeds, one bordering on something more than just knightly duty to the monarchy. The relationship between Kyle and Sialeeds progresses and transforms throughout the series of events during Sun Rune War (ultimately ending with Sialeeds death, of course).

At first, their relationship is still rather distant, formal (well, as formal as you could get with Kyle). As per his usual style, Kyle flirts shamelessly with Sialeeds and she in turn, flatly refuses to humor him in any fashion. There's no real bond shared by the two (at least, it seems that way) - at the end of the day, she goes her way and he his. Things start changing, however, when the Godwin plot is carried out and the Prince and Sialeeds are forced into exile. It is around the time Kyle joins the Prince's "rebel" army in Rainwall that Georg basically leaves the party. Before his departure, Sialeeds could count on Georg to be another adult to the group - someone who she could theoretically confide in. True, Lucretia was there at that time, but since Sialeeds despised her for her involvement with Arshtat and the Sun Rune, she wouldn't even consider talking about anything with her. Thus, with the absence of Georg, who could Sialeeds turn to if she needed to confide in someone? Why, Kyle of course. His devotion to the royal family was no joke and he was someone who she was already familiar with.

So it appears a bond of trust formed between the two - Sialeeds and Kyle would talk late at night, she making Kyle swear not to speak of the contents of their discussions. However, Kyle finally let a little tidbit of information slip to the Prince at the very end of the war:

"Prince... I've been thinking... Maybe Sialeeds' ultimate goal was the destruction of the Godwin and Barows' families... That's why she prolonged the war until the Godwins collapsed. And why she killed Lord Barows herself. ... Of course, uh, I wouldnt' have any inside info on the subject. All, just, uh, speculation on my part!"

Of course, he goes on to say that although she went about it the wrong way, she was still looking out for the best interest of Falena.
