Camus' charm gets him far with the ladies, unlike poor Miklotov who is incredibly blunt. One can imagine, then, with Camus' mischevious nature, him becoming something of a matchmaker/love advisor to (an unwilling) Miklotov. In contrast, Miklotov provides Camus with someone to possibly confide in (I can imagine Camus going off on a tirade about something while Miklotov calmly listens beside him). Each gives the other support and together they create a friendship that lasts even after they both leave the knighthood.
As with most couples in the Suikoverse, there isn't much "official" evidence to support the pairing. However, there are instances in the storyline to suggest (if one where so inclined) their relationship. For example, some fans have suggested that the fact that when Miklotov is KO'ed in a battle, Camus (if he's there) will become beserk - suggesting he has deeper feelings than friendship (although you could easily take this the other way and say he's just really upset that his best friend got knocked-out). Other instances include the part during the Matilda Arc where Camus asks you to look out for Miklotov, when Miklotov gets upset after Camus is burned during Suikogaiden Volume 2, and the fact that before your castle reaches a certain level, they both share the same room (and then afterwards, they have rooms right next to each other). All these instances, in turn, can also be interpretated as nothing more than evidence of a strong bond of friendship between the two. In conclusion, there can be no denying the fact that Miklotov and Camus share a deep bond of friendship. Whether or not that bond goes any deeper is left up to the interpretations of the player - which is perhaps the greatest thing about their relationship, as neither side of the argument can ever be "canon". | this section of the shrine contains detailed information about Miklotov and his involvement during both Suikoden II and Suikogaiden Vol.2. Below is a list of the sections within this category.
this is the section where all the scans, screencaps, and fan-made graphics go. If you use any graphics from this section, please give a link back to "http://lost-fragment.org/miklotov/" (or whoever made it, in the case that it wasn't me).
the only TFL approved fanlisting for Miklotov. A fanlisting is a list (group) of people from all around the world that share an interest in a particular show, movie, actor, song, character, etc. You don't have to have a website to join any fl, all you need is a love for whatever the fl is about and working email address.

The current layout features Miklotov and Camus from the Suikoden II novel (volume 3...I believe). It was scanned, edited, *and* colored by me. The layout itself was created using PSP 7.0 & Photoshop 7.0 and was coded using PSPad. The Matildan badge gif used throughout the site was made by me, so don't steal it. :| For a list of brushes/texture resources, go here.
